Description
The transition from camper to counselor is one of the most exciting steps in a young leader’s journey. Our Camp Counselor in Training (CIT) Course is designed to prepare teens and young adults for the responsibilities of becoming a counselor by developing leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and an understanding of camper care. This course bridges the gap between being a participant and stepping into a leadership role—helping future counselors build the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
CIT programs are more than a training ground—they are an investment in the next generation of camp leaders. By completing this course, trainees will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to support campers, contribute to a strong camp culture, and prepare for success both at camp and beyond.
